ABOUT US
TEACHING THE GOSPEL
"Therefore, since we have been justified by faith, we have a peace obtained through our Lord Jesus Christ."
Romans 5:1 (ESV)
The gospel is the good news of God's work in the world to save sinners. Through confident trust in the person and work of Jesus, God not only saves us from His justice, but also reconciles us to himself forever. This means God promises us that in Jesus you are His beloved child forever. This is the work of God - the gospel. Jesus calls us to receive him as Lord and receive His gift of forgiveness, reconciliation and eternal riches with Him! Such good news! Rest in Him!
THE GOSPEL
The gospel unites all Christians, regardless of race, culture, socio-economic status, age or gender. The gospel breaks down these barriers that the world builds up. It enables true acceptance, love and respect for one another, because we are all one in Christ Jesus.
LEADERSHIP
Each congregation is under the spiritual care of its elders and pastor. Our focus is on living out the Gospel as examples and to pass it on to the next generation. The Session, represented by elders of all congregations, give oversight on values, direction and vision for ECC as a whole.
OUR RELATIONSHIPS
Striving as one for the gospel, members across all our congregations are united together in a significant way. Members of different congregations know each other, love and care for each other. They continue building relationships even outside their separate Sunday gatherings.
ECC is strengthened by intentionally being a multi-generational church.
